Television

  • Trine has joined the cast of 'Spoed' as Dr. Evi Caubergs, a junior doctor. Spoed is the equivalent of ER / Grey's Anatomy in Belgium and the Netherlands and is on air every Sunday at 7pm on NED 1.
  • She played the role of Veronique in the new "daily dedicated fiction": 'Emma'. It was aired from the 1st January 2007 till the 28th of June on TV 1 in Belgium.
  • Trine plays the role of Veerle in the docu-drama '16+' for TV1 in Belgium (Benelux).
  • She played guest parts in various series: 'Aspe', Kinderen van Dewindt', 'Wittekerke'.

Theatre

  • She performed the leading role in Strindberg's 'Miss Julie' at the National Theatre for 'Kosova InFest 2005' International Theatre Festival.
  • In January she performed a one-woman show 'Russian Beauty', a tale of modern love and a lost Mother Russia, in S.M.A.K. in Gent (B) as part of 'Europalia Russia 2005'. She recently brought the play with success in Antwerp.
  • She performed 'Miss Julie' and 'Russian Beauty' at the Edinburgh Festival in 2005 at the C venue.
  • At the Edinburgh Festival 2004 she performed with 'Act Provocateur Int.' 'No Exit ' by Jean-Paul Sartre. She played the role of Estelle.
  • She was ‘Nurse Betty’ in, in a new adaptation for 'Act Provocateur Int.' by Gene Brewer, of his best selling novel and Hollywood blockbuster ‘K-PAX’ in which she played NURSE BETTY .

Film

  • Trine had a leading role as Kate in the feature film 'Sacrificed', directed by Keith Bradley. The film won the award of Best Horror in the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival 2005.
  • She played the lead in 'Out of Shadows: The Dream'. The film won The Best Short Art Film award at the Wreck Beach Film Festival 2005 in Ontario Canada and also performed in 'Out of Shadows: The Journey' which was selected for the 'Festival du Cinéma de Paris 2005'.
  • Trine played the central character in a highly challenging docu-drama 'A Taste of Sugar', shown at the 'Free Range Art Festival' in Brick Lane, London.

 

  • After obtaining a BA (Hons) in Drama at John Moores University in Liverpool, Trine took a one year intensive acting course in London. She continues to hone her skills through both study as well as performance.
    Trine's stagecraft includes a natural sense of timing which works well in comedy. She also has the ability to draw on her inner being when portraying roles in classical and serious drama.
  • Subsequently, she has worked in theatre, film and television, and has made numerous voiceovers for BBC as well as commercials and games.
